I thought I would share some pictures from a photography workshop I attended in Oxford a few years ago! My approach with wedding photography is mostly natural & unobtrusive. I try to capture everything as it unfolds, without interference so I guess with these workshops and styled sessions it kinda defeats the whole concept of 'natural' photography but sometimes it's nice to just stand back, take things slowly without the pressure of what might happen next and just make some pretty pictures!
The 'models' at this workshop were a newly married couple (actually part of the series Don't Tell the Bride - their real wedding was a racing track themed day.. just a little different to this rustic barn shoot!) so the emotions were real!
I always find being part of these sessions are really inspirational, just learning a new technique or networking with like minded photographers, it's great to keep learning!
